Favorite classic arcade game?

SubSwifty

I love cats! (especially mine)

Recently started a new job at an arcade and curious about everyone's favorite if they have one!
Mine is probably Q*bert. Such a simple concept, yet it becomes exponentially challenging as you progress through the stages. My perfect kind of game!

Probably Pac-Man. Fond memories at the malt shop playing the Pac-Man table arcade machine when I was a kid.

Growing up I had a game on my Playstaion 2 and it had different arcade games that you could walk to and play. It was basically just like those 100-in-1 arcade machines that you find at arcades now, but you had a character that you could control as you walked between each game you wanted to play. Kind of like being in an actual arcade now that I think about it LOL. But I don’t remember much of it honestly cause I was pretty young. Pac-Man is a timeless classic though and it’s unfortunate to know that future generations won’t have those classic arcade experiences

It really is! And arcades are becoming more popular and "trendy", so I'm hoping that more people will get those experiences.

Fighting games for sure, but I'll specifically mention Beat Em Ups like 'Simpsons Arcade', or 'X-Men Arcade'! Awesome games to play if you were with your friends.

Rail shooters are great. CarnEvil, Time Crisis (Quick and Crash, anyone?!). There was one called 'Police 911' by Konami, blew my mind as a kid because the game had a big red mat to step up to, and cameras that registered your body movement ingame; almost like a VR/AR game but without any equipment.

I know VR gaming hasn't taken off as much as I'd like, but it would be a great space for bringing back Rail Shooters
