Back after 5 Years

Hey everyone!

Hope you are doing well. It’s crazy that just recently I had someone talk about eGO with me. It made me remember I grew up playing on the CSGO JB and Surf servers.

I was 12-14 years old when I used to play the servers consistently. I definitely was immature back then, but now I’m almost 20 and this community still holds a special place in my heart. I want to grow my way into a Leadership role here and continue to build bonds with everyone in the community.

I have worked in Customer Service for 3 years and just recently started my new job as a Help Desk Technician, which is IT support, about 2 months ago. I should hopefully be promoted in a couple weeks where I have the ability to work hybrid/remote.

I’m happy to be back in the community and look forward to speaking with everyone!

I was in a very similar boat as you! I joined eGO servers for the first time in 2016 and I would've been 14. I'm 22 now and rediscovered my love for JB and TTT (and now CS Source, also thanks to being a part of this community) over a year ago now, and haven't looked back since. Welcome back!

I stopped playing about 2017, so we haven't met. I just so happen to be lurking here today after 5 years of not viewing the forum. I just wanted to say, enjoy playing the games, the events, making friends, don't let a goal of 'being in leadership' take away from that, it can sometimes ruin your fun online. Still go for it but don't let it take over, as someone who did that back in 2013 or so

My goal is definitely to help out from a Member Services aspect. I don't expect it to be instant, but I know there's a chance of it happening in the future.

And yes, I'll definitely enjoy my time on the servers because that is honestly where I enjoy a lot of my nights after work!
