We DID have a Minecraft Survival Server months ago but it was shutdown, but I do believe a new server is in the works

eGO's last rust server was kinda terrible, it was a super modded 3x that was very bland tho. Had no advantages over the other modded 3x and just felt like a 100x with all the commands. If eGO did a vanilla 2x I'd play, it would need a good LE team tho and I dont think anybody is around to push that

Bit late but I remember a main discussion point being it needed LE that didnt actually play on the server. Mainly because LE can see where everyone's base is and it's layout which could lead to it being abused.

Ofcourse LE are expected to follow the rules and from what I know only very rare things happen where admins/LE cheat on our own servers.

That being said if LE were to play on our own servers, even if fairly, it would still be brought up by players everytime their base would get raided because: Skill issue > crying > coping with LE = cheating.

That being said I'd play on eGO rust server

my rough (and unique iirc) idea to this was to let admins decide whether the wanted to admin or play a wipe, if they wanted to play - then they got no permissions except for kick/ban for chat abuses and would have to have another admin look into cheater reports who arent playing the wipe. the problem is you have admins who are close friends and could share info wit each other about base layouts and the such, which is bad. very bad.

a very strong LE team would be needed to combat that and various other issues that arise in a rust community (where to draw the line of toxicity/spam, what prefabs to use that engages w/ players the most, etc) - if you know anyone in your friend groups who is into rust and would be interested in running a server, by all means get them up in here
