We want to take a moment to acknowledge and thank you for your recent feedback, which has been invaluable to our decision-making process. As we continue to adapt and respond to the needs of our community, Community Management, in collaboration with Counter-Strike Leadership, has made an important decision to unify our communication channels. After careful consideration, we have decided to close and archive the dedicated Counter-Strike Discord server. This will take place on November 1, 2024.
This decision was made with the goal of fostering a more cohesive, engaged community across all EdgeGamers games and initiatives. By consolidating our communication platforms, we aim to strengthen our connections, enhance cross-division interactions, and simplify the experience for all members. This will allow us to bring all voices together under one virtual roof, streamlining updates, events, and conversations within EdgeGamers.
What does this mean for you?
- Unified Communication: All Counter-Strike discussions, announcements, and support will now take place on the main EdgeGamers Discord server and on our forums. This will make it easier for members to stay updated on all happenings within EdgeGamers, from Counter-Strike to our other popular groups.
- Enhanced Community Engagement: We believe this change will encourage more interaction across groups, creating new opportunities for engagement and collaboration among our members. This will foster a greater sense of unity as we work toward our shared goals.
- Streamlined Updates and Events: With all EdgeGamers activity centralized in one Discord server, announcements, events, and important updates will be easier to access, reducing the need to monitor multiple platforms.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Together, we’ll make EdgeGamers the best place to play, connect, and grow!
Warm regards,
EdgeGamers Community Management and Counter-Strike Leadership
