3D is like 2D, but better? Why ?

Are open-world, Full 3D video games like 2D ones but better? Why. ?

In a video game magazine, it is explained that "a future in which, sooner rather than later, we will immerse ourselves in these fantasy worlds in a way that we are not even able to imagine now."

I imagine that by then there will no longer be new 2D video games made with mechanics or gameplay. And no one will remember them anymore, beyond being a historical and museum curiosity.

I think saying 3D is objectively better than 2D is like saying movies are objectively better than books.

Each type of game has entirely different mechanics, and I personally think there will always be some amazing 2D games that would only suffer from 3D.
