Hi there orka,
I am not necessarily anyone of importance here, however I know of eGOs presence for at least the past 10 years. I am humbled to inform you that this is not necessarily an eGO problem, but a CS2 problem. Valve, and/or whoever the current developer team is for CSGO (CS2) really does not want community servers to exist in CS2. They are really good at making every best effort to change the code and hooks of the game so plugins cease to function.
If you notice, the community server browser for CS2 is external from the game. This is intentional, it is not a glitch, but it is not okay. They really do not want community servers to exist in CSGO (CS2) and want players to rely on "competitive" modes of play.
Many communities outside of eGO have had to cease operations due to these events. It is by total luck and chance that eGO is still thriving after all these years, and the Counter Strike community should be honored that a reputable community such as eGO is still standing strong at least on Counter-Strike: Source where it has been for years.
Best wishes.
