This may only get worse. CS2 does not want community servers to exist, which is why the server browser is the way it is, and plugins continue to break. There is no official version of sourcemod that works for CSGO. Plugins working are just by absolute chance, as Sourcemod is only compatible for try HL2/Source engine based games. CS2 is on a newer, advanced version of Source engine, and they are not very open about how to properly call functions.
This has actually been going on for decades as Valve continues to remove functionalities from the game dating back to 1.6. There is not much we can do about it but make best with what we have.
At this time, that best is the eGO Dust2 CS:S server.
Again, there really are no active CSGO/CS2 servers. The only ones online, functional, and community driven are in Russia, where laws and standards are different, including matchmaking, as Valve does not host any matchmaking servers in Russia. They are in Europe. Russia has their own thing going on with CSGO/CS2, just as they have for years, which is why servers in any browser or stats tracking system look the way they do.
