Simple question, do you want to keep Dust 2 how it is now where you cannot team flash or go back to where you could teamflash?

Please—I'm begging you—leave teamflash disabled for the love of all that is pure and good in this world.

Honestly, it should stay disabled for no other reason than it takes away the ability to grief with teamflashes.

And I'll keep it 100% real: People get very salty when they get teamflashed (I'm no saint on that front either). So keeping them disabled also removes an incredibly common point of strife.

It's the best thing that ever happened to the server.

What sir said here.

my only gripe with this is that it introduced a new mechanic wherein you can just do a straight 10 man push into site and not have to worry about being team flashed when the other 10 people in the back are just lopping flashes in

but overall it seems like everyone kinda settled in nicely into this new meta so i dont see why it needs to be reverted

I'm one of those dudes in the back lobbing those flashes lol

This is surely true. But I would just add that it's balanced by the fact that it takes a herculean effort to get 10 terrorists to do anything together. Coordinating the t team is often like herding cats.

I mean it does remove the radar which we all depend on. Its not consequence free totally. Even now the 10-15 man rush are not automatic wins, which is great! My 2 cents anyway.

Beyond the abuse of flashing to grief, there is a point regarding strategy. Removing the ability to flash teammates protects that team from their own mistakes without giving to the opposite team. A team knows they can flash without any affect on them while they rush or pop out from hiding anywhere on the map and the enemy has no defense. Those seconds do make a difference and create an advantage which is most exploitive late in the round with the fewer players alive. The players have accepted it, but who wouldn't accept an advantage? I often think about this during the game. Just something to think about, I guess.

TBH, I would keep it closer to the original map as much as possible. Not only have TF not disabled but also 2 flashes per person and shorter round time. Smaller group of T's will be rushing more often making it fun on both sides. Before you react, I was admin for a Dutch server holding 64 slots called Team SAS Big PIMP. These were the best times ever. I do understand keeping it fun for everyone means some sacrifices have to be made.

Yeah, please leave it disabled.

I remember back when this server didn't have nade caps and team flash was on. Half the round was spent in a ringy white haze.
