CS:S Dust2 general suggestions

1. To help encourage Ts to get out of spawn, cause their player gradual HP damage, similar to when the bomb explodes and a player walks through the fire, your HP slowly dwindles, all the way to a death. You could make the timer that triggers this extremely conservative as to not affect players who are simply crossing from long A to B tunnels through spawn or vice versa (which you are allowed to do). This will also discourage T spawn camping when no admins are online.

2. I suggested it before and it was roadmapped but hasn't happened yet, make it physically impossible to plant in B until there is a 5v5, i.e. script it out.

3. Please reinstate the stealth spectator for admins (i.e. no "so and so is joining the spectators" message and don't show the admin name in the tab menu under spectate) this was very useful for catching togglers.

4. I've heard there is a plugin that detects when two players connect from the same IP address, and it manipulates both player's DEAD spectator view, as to prevent ghosting. Yes, we have a few people (siblings, couples, what have you) that play on the server and some have been accused of ghosting, others have blatantly done it, its just difficult to prove.

Just throwing it out there but a knifefight when it comes down to a 1v1, both players have a option to accept the knifefight press 1 or 2. Then both teleported next to each other (prevent the running around making wait 40+ people for a chicken run), with a 30 sec max timer to dish it out. I would even suggest that above a threshold of above 40 players that it does not occur to not grind too much time on the time on the map. Anyway, i dont think it might be the righr fit or if it was suggested and tested before but yeah here it is

We do have the plugin that allows the last 2 players to vote for a knife duel at the end.
 
I support Luke's suggestions. The admin stealth idea was working for a while, and it was very useful in getting better demos for potential wallhacks. I often suspect that there are specs who are ghosting. There are some players that spend more time spec than they do playing the game, which is suspect imo.
 
The slow HP drain in spawn (point 1) is a clever idea – a gentle nudge, not a harsh punishment. Forcing a 5v5 before planting in B (point 2) sounds like a good way to prevent early rushes. And yeah, a stealth spectator mode (point 3) is a must for admin work. That IP address plugin (point 4) sounds interesting, but I'd be wary of false positives

Most of these depend on finding a working plugin or editing a current plugin. I would be leery about adding a plugin for #4. I'm not sure it's enough of an issue to worry about.

Agreed - point 4 is of lowest priority. What about reinstating the stealth spectator mode for admins? That should be an easy one which adds quite a bit of value.

I know this french server have a plugin that does it (more drastically though, its an instant slay if you return in t-spawn past the 1:45 minute mark, 2.30 round time) point is they use something with map location, i could ask them or give you server as a reference, if you want.

Aren't we able to get a plugin list publicly?

I believe if you go into a server and type sm plugins , it'll tell you what plugins are running. The exclusion to this is if there's a plugin view block installed, I think it'll say something like "plugins blocked from viewing" - but generally this is frowned upon.

So it said denied when i typed SM Plugins in console but whenever a CT or T was slayed by the pluging Zones -
[Zones] >> TINØ has been slayed for entering protected zone "Spawn T".

so i would asssume Zones is the SM plugin. Hope that helps.
