Super Mario - Did you know?

Remember when Super Mario came out of the NES? The majority of you weren't even thought of or born yet (including myself) when it hit the system in 1985. However! Did you know it was based on the arcade version in 1983 called Mario Bros? I didn't until I looked it up for this article that Ric calls spam.

Anyway, short post - What is your favorite Mario game in the series?

I really liked Galaxy when it first came out on the Wii, played a ton of that. Enjoyed the gameplay a lot, thought it was a great new take on Mario and the music of the main area could lull me to sleep. I never did play the 2nd one though, perhaps I need to at some point.

Lots of fond memories of Super Mario Bros 3, as a side scroller. Played the hell out of that on Gameboy.

I got to agree with Simon on SMB3 on Gameboy, I also spent a lot of time on that as well as super mario 64 ds. There is a coop mod for super mario 64 on pc that is also really fun with a couple of friends.

Super Mario 3, played it on the original NES. I remember coming home from school and playing.
