A Final Call for eGO TF2

eGO TF2 has existed since 2007.
However, as of November 5th, there is no longer any Leadership present for TF2.

If anyone is willing to fill the roles and pick up TF2, please do.
I still care for this community and if you do as well and are willing to put in the effort, take the chance.

For now, I plan on making a full montage/reel of clips from the servers, assuming they are going to close.

It would very much be a starting from absolute scratch for someone stepping up, which can be a good thing. Best of luck to anyone who takes it on.
 
I check in on my favorite division every now and then, and I feel an emptiness when I look at it now. It was a golden age when I was part of a great leadership team here. I'd love to see it revived and thriving again.

I would love to step up for this one day and start some tf2 jailbreak hype, i think it would be a symbiotic relationship for the cs server lol

We need to keep the JB players contained to one place so they can't filter out to other games haha.

Sorta like League players. Can't let that game die off because, we need those players to stay there.
 
Apologies in advance for the (somewhat?) necro.

I remember being a member of Prestige before it merged with eGO. Those TF2 servers were some of the most fun I'd ever had in the game. While I didn't stick around after the merge, mainly due to me working on my bachelor's degree (and now I'm in law school. I feel old) and some personal stuff, I could still feel that same kind of energy on eGO's servers. It's a shame to see it dying out. I might have some clips saved on an old laptop, but they'd be from Prestige, not eGO. If y'all would still like them, I'll see if I can get them, no promises though.
 
I have tons of old eGO clips, many from Retr0Destr0yer Retr0Destr0yer (Hey handsome)
I've been relegated to playing on UGC :(
One look at their admin system and I decided I didn't wanna get involved lol
 
I absolutely have interest. I have interest in getting it back to the place it was in 2022!
 
I would love to work on this in my free time all the time. I personally know and believe that there is a large market for tf2 jailbreak independently-- and I think our core tf2 and jailbreak players would be extremely excited but I don't wanna speak for anyone but myself. With this said I am not the most active on the servers due to the hours of population being the same hours I am usually out working. I would love to be able to contribute meaningfully in my own capacity in the time that works for me :)

edit: even prior to applying for my e tag I can help with mapping on tf2 and anything else for sure because it uses the older source engine which is much easier to work with.

LOL I've watched about 6 or 7 of the divisions I've been apart of die. GTA is the only one left for me!
 
Thanks for the memories since 2011 :) I love Team Fortress 2, and EdgeGamers has always been my TF2 home since my first hours on eGO 2Fort.

A special shout out to the Ol' cp_egypt eGOptians ! - and to Dragonhill for making the best map/event ever in cp_blackmesa Sundays ⊂(^(工)^)⊃ !

I just built a new pc & coming back from a long TF2 hiatus- I'd love to play together, hit me up friends ! !

Infinite special memories from eGO TF2 over the years- I'll always hold them dear.
