Low Counter-Strike Delivered Make Math Question Answers Integer Only

Quick question why are we asking questions that have answers with decimals? To me all this does is encourage players to use calculators. II think that math questions should be simple questions that can be answered on the fly (for example while playing climb!!!) to the quickest responder (using your head!!!!). The bare minimum IMO is that answers should be limited to integers only. Even if you find these questions easy the player copy pasting the question in google will win the majority of the time (unlike in the past where you could probably answer faster by doing the quick math in your head).

Math was reduced semi recently to have fewer max operations.

Ideally over time most people would figure out common fractions (in your example 11 / 7 % 2 can be simplified down to just 11 / 7).

Copy/Pasting from the chat itself shouldn’t work nonya , please try it next time you see a math question. I agree that in a perfect world we would only reward players that get the math on their own, but having a good mix of both easy and harder math questions being randomly generated sometimes gives you these types of questions.

I don’t appreciate the cherry picking here, we get a math question every few minutes, and screenshotting the hard ones makes it seem like we’re asking you to do 50 exponents / fractions a day. Sometimes they’re easy, sometimes they’re hard.

The point I was making was often times the math equations are simpler than they appear to be. Many times there's a ^ 0 or a % 2. No need to get brash.

MS Yes, when we simplify it down to 11/7 you have found the exact problem I have with the math question.

Copy pasting does work, but that is not the purpose of this post. Math questions asked should be simple enough to where they user feels like it is not worth searching the question up as by the time they do that it is already answered.

If by cherry picked you mean providing questions that deal with decimals then yes it is "cherry picked". That is the entire point of this suggestion. When these math questions pop up no one is answering them. What is the benefit to increasing the difficulty of the question to this degree? The majority of the player base does not even participate in it. Surely we can just let the questions be simpler (the bare minimum being getting rid of non integers) so that more players can be involved. I'm sorta confused as to how we started asking math questions like this, was it a loud minority? Was there a suggestion post I didn't see? Anyways, I hope the main takeaway we can get from this post is to not try and "solve" the searching up "problem" but to address the root problem that was introduced to seemingly satisfy a very limited portion of the player base (that in turn excludes the majority of the player base, making math which was once very popular now unengaging).

It’s a math question in a jailbreak server on the internet. I think we’re safe to take what I say here with a grain of salt.
