I did this about a year and a half ago here , but decided to update it since cs2 came out and we have a completely different map pool! (Not biased on my maps I swear!) I'd love to see more people make new maps for CS2, so if you're interesting in mapping at all, reach out to me or join our mapping team!
Visual - I did the visual category based on how much detail/time was put into the map (Displacements, props, details). The highest score I gave was to jb_aqueduct. IMO its the best looking map we have due to CS2's new source 2 features.
Games - I did the games category based on how unique/innovative they were throughout the whole map, as well as how many games there were. The highest score I gave was to jb_aqueduct, with jb_vortex in second. jb_arcade would also be up here once its ported, but I think these maps have the most unique/fun games.
Balance - I did the balanced category based on having a good amount of T and CT wins on each time the map is played with T's winning slightly more. As well as getting to LR, a good amount of rebelling, etc. The highest score I gave was to jb_alien_final AND jb_aqueduct. Both these maps are pretty balanced and with both leaning towards being T sided.
Layout - I did the layout category based on how well everything flow and how easy it is to get around the map. I also took into account how much variation in height and how unique the layout was compared to other maps. The highest score I gave was to to jb_vortexI think vortex has a unique layout with the 2 layers, it is on the bigger side but I think the game placements and CT areas feel really nice.
Fun - I did the layout category based on how much I enjoyed playing the map on T and CT (Rebelling, games, etc). The highest score I gave was to jb_quake_cs2 and jb_aqueduct. Quake is easily one of the most fun maps to rebel on, especially with having lots of good T's on, it makes it really fun when CT's are trying their best to stop you! Aqueduct has some of my favorite/unique games, fun secrets, unique cells and other unique features that make it play really well. Only reason its not a 10 is due to the FPS drop
