Minecraft Delivered Valuable Item Drop Prevention

It'd be nice if some functionality were in place to prevent you from dropping your valuable items off the map, at risk of losing them forever (especially paid items such as builder/sell wands).

A fix for this could be in the form of double-confirmation (meaning you must press "q" twice to drop certain items), or just allow players to toggle item drops in general with /drops (or something along those lines)

+1, lost my fully enchanted max ce sword
due to an finger slip (it was in the nether for 3 full real life days before my teammates found it, who knew entity clears didn't work in unloaded chunks, thank God lol)

Curse of binding will help if I’m correct and it should work on tools

Unfortunately the q or command is quite literally Minecraft coding like deep coding as it’s up to Microsoft if they wanted to do that. But if players are wanting to drop things to be cleared /disposal or /trash is available I don’t remember if it’s DS only or not

I'm gonna say something crazy here, don't drop your valuable items?

You can't drop valuable Items if you don't have any valuable Items

There are plugins in existence that already accomplish what I originally suggested, so it's possible to do. Also, it's all good and well unbinding stuff, but the whole point of this command was just a small QoL change.

If it's in the form of a command (i.e. /drops) instead of double-pressing q, then it literally interferes with no one and improves the experience for those who want this functionality.
