Spawn Camping Rule

This is a glimpse at our Admin School which all eG's and eGO's must know by heart. To get admin they have to recite it forwards and backwards and in a second language

Well, maybe it's not that hard, but this is the rule on spawn camping cut and pasted from the Advanced Admin Guide.

It would be nice if we heard less complaints about spawn campers unless they are breaking the following rule.

Spawn Camping​

For eGO purposes: Spawn camping is killing people as they appear, REGARDLESS of where the respawners are killed from.

Players often accuse others of spawn camping. They aren't always talking about the above rule. So, if one of us doesn't actually witness someone REPEATEDLY killing players as they respawn, let it go.

How far away do they have to be in order to count as being "spawn campers"? Because in one game of DoD: Avalanche, a German MG was camping up on the Allied arch-bridge in prone position, killing anyone who came up. Is that or is it not spawn camping?

If you have time to do a "DoD Move" before you are killed, you were not spawn camped.

I know that may not seem fair, but it wasn't fair to mow down all the GI's before the had a chance to get off the boat in Saving Private Ryan either.

So as long as you can move a bit, hit the deck for cover, or shoot back, it is not spawn camping.

Well I thought it was the first choice, but that seemed to negate the whole mg class. So let me see if I have this right....left alley in donner, prone mg on the stone wall looking at axis side. If I see a nade come over the top I can get up and run, so therefore not spawn camping? If I'm right where would a camping spot be in donner? Thanks for the info, apologies if I'm not as read up on the rules as I should be.

I see...I see...I usually die before I can camp spawn. Or I lie in wait in a hidden spot and cut the enemy down from behind (maniac laugh).

I now know the rule for eGO and I agree with it.
