Website Downtime

We had a short bit of downtime today due to an error with GoDaddy Domain Name Registration services. All of the EdgeGamer accounts were set to auto renew, but they did not due to a system error.

Everything should be online and working now.

I got scared this morning when I tried coming here and the site was gone. I thought everybody packed up and left with out me! ;)
 
From what I can see in the GoDaddy case notes the problem was probably caused by the private registration not being processed which caused the whole order to not process... which caused the parked domain page to be set.

No, they can't yank the domain. They build their list based on upcoming domain expiration. The domains... all of them... are fine.

We're not going anywhere... now get back to the servers.
 
Haha I thought you guys knew about this a long time ago. I searched for edgegamers.org in the domain registration website and it said that this website is for sale and I could bid on it o_O sorry that I didn't tell you...

The domains will always come up like that because they are paid for each year. GoDaddy was supposed to auto-renew, but they had a glitch...

speaking of, I need to bill eGO for the domains. Man I'm getting forgetful in my old age.
