I like to buy my stuff off of newegg, and tigerdirect, and ebay, i think i am just now finishing this thing.

I built mine entirely from newegg........

Mouse - some logitech lazr thingie, 5 button, with sensitivity adjustment button.

keyboard - Saitek backlighted thingie.

video card - nVidia GeForce 7900 GS

sound card - no idea. It owns and has never given me any trouble, but beyond that... Lol No clue.

MB - I forget. I think its an Asus. Lol

Memory - 2 Gig.

case - Antek.

Intarwebs - sucky DSL Extreme.

Yeah, thats pretty much all. its a great set-up, relatively cheap too. Only like $600 for it all. Runs the game beautifully on full settings, averaging about 50-60 fps.

Hey Capt_Cope,
We have a very similar machine.
I used to have the SLI premium board, but the chipset fan died.
So I installed a thermaltake blower chipset fan (THAT THING IS LOUD!!! I can hear it downstairs...sort of like a blow dryer)
But I made a stupid mistake, and I thought that I messed up the board, so then I bought the A8N5X.
I later found out that when I was working on the computer I had accidentally hit the voltage switch on the back of the PSU.
Long story short...my dad now uses the SLI

You gotta love the G5 mouse :) 2000dpi, all of the time!! I dont use anything less lol
