Iphone Dropped! and Iphone Stress Test

I still think I will wait till Iphone 2.0 or 3.0. I am sure they will have to move it to the 3G network before it really takes off.....Although I have been wrong before.... Anyone still remember the crusoe chip?
 
I saw a a pair go for $10,000 on eBay on saturday. I'm not even kidding.

Seriously, they're crap. The AT&T cellular internet system is crap. Cellular internet is crap by design, but AT&T's is worse than any other carrier. It's over priced, it's nothing special. The only cool thing is the UI. It's a status symbol, nothing else. As soon as Lindsay Lohan gets one, everyone has to have one.
 
I picked up a 4gb for my wife and I. I know it's a lot of money, but I have not put it down since I bought it. In my opinion, TOTALLY worth the money.
 
I've heard from some people that the touch screen is harder than it looks.
Even though it looks cool, the Upstage is for me :)
 
attack of the show on g4 said the iphone was only worth about 200- 250 dollars or sumthing n that the most expensive thing is the touch screen which is only 60 bucks

so apple gets about 400 dollars on every iphone they sell
 
The touch screen is very easy to use, especially the qwerty keyboard. I think the best thing that the iphone offers, imho, is safari. I work in IT and just having that is a godsend. I can do a lot of my work on my phone. Of course, it is no comparison to your laptop, but you can't fit your laptop in your pocket..well, unless you have really big pockets.
 
I don't want a phone that does all this. The less time I spend on a cell phone, the better.

However, when the nextgen iPods come out and they have all the bells and whistles that these have, now that I might bite on.
