[poll] PS3 vs. XBOX 360 vs. Wii

Well I myself own a PS3. Despite everyone's criticism, it works flawlessly, looks amazing, and is an all around great package. Haven't played the Wii yet, and I've played 360 quite a bit, and I've noticed the 360 has a tendency to lock up on certain games. I haven't run into this problem with the PS3 :) Anyways, what would you guys say is your favorite or in your opinion the best?
 
i'd say the PS3 is the better. The wii is just too too, i just don't like it. Some games don't make sense on it like an fps. how do you play an fps on the wii? One of my friends has an xbox360 and it freezes up on him a lot. Too many bugs that ironed out. The PS3 seems fine but that encrypter chip thingy is what kills it. I can live with it but its not cool. So PS3 is my choice.
 
Personally, I own all 3, but enjoy the Wii most. FPS are most excellent if done right... shooting is more accurate. Although 3rd person, try Resident Evil 4 on the Wii. Far more precise. Plus, it just feels new and different. However... I like all 3, so meh.
 
This is a tough question, I think. I think I've had more fun per game on my Wii, but the 360 just offers so much. I haven't tried the PS3 yet, but I have nothing against it other than the way Sony is using it to shoehorn Blu-Ray into people's homes. I don't think it's worth the money at the moment.

Anyway, I think I'd have to pick the Wii for this poll. It's just so unique, I can't get the same things anywhere else. Between the PC and older consoles, I think I could get a fair bit of what the 360 offers elsewhere.
 
Xbox 360 all the way, I have one and its amazing. So many different games and so many more awesome games comming. Game company's have realized that no one has a PS3 so their porting all their PS3 "exclusive" games to 360 because they know people have 360's
 
I'm going to say the 360. And I tend to be neutral enough that I probably would like the PS3 as well, but at this point there are no games for it that I would label 'must have' that won't be on the 360 or the PC. I haven't tried a Wii yet, but I want too :(
 
that seems to be the biggest problem right now with the ps3 is that its lacking games. but by the end of this year, there should be some big titles released including ninja gaiden sigma, assassin's creed, frontline fuels of war, killzone 2, and then two man army, but idk when that is coming out
 
I've got me pc for the type of games you can get on ps3. The only console I'd consider worth having is the wii cos you can get the type of games that you won't get anywhere. Smash bros, any mario based game, etc.

Assassin's Creed, Frontline: Fuels of war, and army of two will alll be on the 360. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a remake, isn't it? I didn't care for the original Killzone, so I won't make the sequel a must have just yet.
 
yeah i know they will be out on 360, i'm just saying there will be more good games on the way for the PS3, not necissarily exclusive. and i'm pretty sure sigma is a sequal
 
i have a wii, its soo good. just give it time >:D SUPER SMASH BRAWL!!!

PS3: Expensive, Huge, No good games.
Xbox 360: Kinda Expensive, A little Big, TONS of good games.
Wii: Cheap, Small, Fun. and good games are coming out this fall.


i have all 3 at home i prefer the Xbox 360 right now but the Wii is getting better
 
i'd go for an xbox 360 then a wii....ps3 is horrible...speaking of which i just bought overlord and the darkness! and cant wait till halo 3! that will kill the ps3
 
I say xbox 360 now because of the great games it has to offer because of the extra time it's been out. Granted the ps3 when it gets titles like MGS3 and such I may be more inclined to buy it. A big one WAS assasin's creed but hey xbox 360 HAHA same with GTA IV so ps3 just needs some more games before I put ANY thought into putting that much money out for it...hell ill get an iphone before that
 
i agree with blindsfell and olde english. the wii is an all around for family or for zelda or for SSB(super smash brothers). the ps3 is very nice but not until about 2 years it shouldve come out. the 360 i havent played but looks very nice to play. the overall: all 3 are good in diff ways. but the wii got the inch higher in all.
 
360 for price and performance, got one my self love it and like how cheap Live is though have to play it at school (ask me later) or a friends in cali with dsl/cable
