PSU and Performance - the relation

I am currently running my computer using a 420W PSU and am wondering if upgrading to something stronger would have an impact on my computer's performance. My graphics card is a 7600GT.

Your PSU is only going to impact your performance when you are locking up because your comonents aren't getting enough juice. Other than that your PSU has zero impact on performance.

if you are running just one processor, and one 7600..
you will be fine with your current PSU. . . unless if your PSU's efficiency is like 10%..
