I made one post
Won't be on the servers for a while because of a certain "incident" :\

Hey guys, I would like to thank you for being such a wonderful clan. But recently I went to a lan party, fired up Dod Source to come play with you guys and everything seemed fine. A week later I was banned from VAC servers for a "cheating infraction"

So I went back to the lan and asked what was going on, at that point the owner "deeply appologized" that their computers were flooded with a hash hack which purposly runs in the background to make VAC think it's a hack.

Unfortunately Valve is too much of a greedy company to listen to my plee and said they can't do anything. Being only 17 and having no source of income, it will take me a while to get all my games back.

However I still wish to be a part of this clan as it's an amazing and thriving communty with great members, sorry about this guys god bless!

Man thats messed up. i would tear them a new one and call them everday of my life until they gave me a new account

Sorry to hear that. Doesn't dissuade me from lusting after actually having a LAN party within 100 miles, though.

Anyway, couldn't the LAN facility be financially liable for this kind of thing? They should have had some security measures in place to stop that kind of thing.

Was it a cyber cafe type of place? Because they should have their own accounts.

Same thing happened tome ,but on wow, its so lame that they ban the fair and clean players, but allow players who are cheating play. You could try to ask what hack you have been banned for, or a phonecall to valve and explain the incident

Ahh thanks for the support guys, and Dye remember I'm blackhawk's slave! haha

Actually yes it was a very small cyber cafe place, unfortunately they didn't have Dod source and I never even expected this kind of thing to happen you know what I mean? I sent them like 5 emails but some guy always copies and pastes the same thing from their "rules" section. I think its time to start using harsh language haha

As far as the liability thing goes, the owner doesn't seem to care enough for his customers. He said he appologizes for what happened but if we don't want to take such a risk then just "stay home" what a load of crap! I won't be going there again.

This really does suck though, not only did I just lose 80 dollars, but 80 dollars that my PARENTS paid for, curse you valve! lol

<_< >_>

What kind of crappy lan party was that... no ecafe accounts? o_O And yeah, sorry to hear that bro. You should bother the place to buy you a new steam account because they're too ignorant to fix that kind of crap.

happened to me too. the thing i hate is that it happened to 1 of my friends in my css clan and the nest day steam emailed him saying his account was hacked and they are gonna give him a new account with all the games and i get nothing :(. but for now im using my friends account but lately hes been playing alot :(. you can try to open a support ticket but they are relentless with the once you VAC banned, theres no way to undo it rule.

Dude, that bites. I've had incidents with Valve myself, when my DoD account seemed to expire for no reason. Well written, polite emails or a request to speak directly to a support staff member helped for me, it might for you. Best of luck, man.
