WARNING: DON'T EVEN BOTHER READING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW MESSED UP IT IS!(Ok that didn't even made sense)(Right now I can't speak either english or turkish even my friends are like"ok dude just pick one language and talk we can understand you in english")
Ok here we go...
To start with don't bother asking the reason why do we have that many parties because I don't want to give a history lesson...
we have 21 parties at the time and 14 of them are in the elections(why do you form a party and not take place?)
but just like USA we have main parties, but the number is 3 this time...
BUT NOW(because of the situation we are in for example %90 muslim population) the thing is not being a republican or a democrat its about being modern or middle-eastern
1st one which I would vote but I can't because I'm gonna be 18 in december is the CHP: which stands for the Republican Peoples Party which now stands for the modern and western thinking with secular ideas...(got 11.6 in the last elections which let them get in to the parliament)
2nd: MHP which stands for the Nationalist Movement Party, which now stands for Fascism...
3rd: AKP, which stands for 2 things one of them is the Justice and Improvement(economical) Party or some people calls it the AK Party which AK means white in old Turkish... WHICH STANDS FOR!!!: the Radical Muslim ideas surrounded with non-secular ideas which is completely opposite to the roots of the country and the way that it was formed because when our country formed the parliament got rid of the caliph(the muslum pope, who was the emperor of the Ottoman Empire ) completely so that the government can think without religious thoughts...
This party got elected by 34.7% of the votes last time THINK ABOUT IT FOR A SEC IF THERE ARE 14 PARTIES HOW BIG IS THAT RATIO...
ok here is the deal now:
I'm pretty sure that the 3rd one is gonna get elected with at least 40% but the problem is Turkish Armed Forces made a release in 27th of April which said that:
If you try to play mess with the secularity of this country the Turkish Armed Forces will NOT hesitate to OVERCOME THE GOVERNMENT to protect the secularity even though its against the democracy.
The thing is they did it 4 times in the past so i don't think that they will hesitate.
So after the elections the turkish people are gonna be forced to make another choice:
Non-Secular government or Non-Democratic government...
