everytime I load into the CAMP maps and strand, I get pink and black boxes all over my screen where crates are and also my mini map is a checkerboard pink and black with the capture points on them. was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix it?

reinstall. looks like you are missing some textures. make sure you extract it to the correct place!
Before you reinstall, go to 'C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\ACCOUNT_NAME\day of defeat source\dod\maps\' (or wherever your Steam folder is) and take a screenshot of that folder and post it here.
EDIT: In case you need help, just press the Print Screen button when you get there, open up Paint and paste it in there. Save it as a GIF or JPG and use www.imageshack.us to upload it. Use the first 'Thumbnail for Forums' to post it here.
