I love all your servers, especially Strand since 2rddb disbanded. Also, the fact that theres always clan members playing, it prevent having morons doing stupid stuff.

Since Steam sucks and crash at every map change, i can play hours now enjoying the game since theres "map change" once a day.

Yeah, go by JohnT's recruiting forum and get that =(e)= tag! The =(e)= tag means your sort of a probationary member. With a good attitude, presence on the forums, and on the servers and our Scrimages, you will get promoted eventually.

Its a known crash problem for unknown reason for Valve. A lot of people are having that freeze/crash problem but no one, including Valve knows was is causing it. Personaly, i think its either a Asus mobo conflict or Asus ATI video card conflict.

On another note, thanks for the recrutment invite but i have my own clan, been playing DoD since 1.0 BETA together. But i dont mind pointing finger to assholes on the servers to get them kick or ban. I hate playing with retards. The commitments and communication we have between axies on the Strand server is awesome. Everybody talks, help, warn others. Great team we have there every night ive been playing there.

Theres one thing you need to understand about Steam...its comepletely unstable. Maybe in your case you never had problems but in a lot of cases, every updates brings new issues. Favorites gets wiped out, massive lags, framerate drops and other annoying stuff like that, then you need to tweak the game to make everything work again.

Each and every computers that we have are different and theres always something Steam dont like and make your life a living nightmare. ALL my Steam games were running fine till the Steam update a few weeks ago. I didnt change anything on my PC.

How many times my favorites got wiped out by an update...stop counting after the 6th time

Yeah, I don't mean to sound overly harsh.

But I meant it more like, if it doesn't work now there may be something in your settings somewhere. Do you tweak your system a lot? OC the chip? Tweak the graphics card? If you're running extremely vanilla, then I can see pointing a finger more to Steam.

For instance, I run pretty vanilla but after a recent update I have a bug where my game will drop to the desktop if, when I join a server, I use the mouse to click through the MOTD, rather than just clicking enter.

Im not running anything in the background exept xfire and no its not that

I installed Vista with only ATi and Soundblaster drivers and more crashes.

Tried 2 different version of XP..same crap.

Hopefully the problem will be solve when i get a new video card

But like i said, i didnt change anything when the crashes starts..exept updating Steam
