Not really, this is meant to talk about specific techinical details of the systems... not just... OMFG XBOX FOR THE GAMES WOOOOOOOTTT... or OMG SONY WANTS TO STEAL J00R MONIES!!!
 
Got a Wii last Sunday and I'm enjoying it :) I have Twilight Princess, atm.

Anywho, I chose the Wii because it's cheaper and pretty damn innovative. Also because Wii games interest me more than 360 or PS3 games. :)
 
The new XBOX 360 Elite should give the PS3 a run for its money. They've "fixed" the overheating issues and included a high-defiinition DVD drive. Also comes with a 120 GB HDD. The original 360 was great but mine finally died after nearly two years of hardcore gaming. Shipped it off to Microsoft for $140 and they gave me another 3 year warranty.

The Xbox Elite DOES NOT come with an HD DVD drive. This is still a spearate accesory that needs to be purchased (at arround $230/£120). You got most of the upgrades right though. They include:

- Improved Cooling
- HDD size increased to 120 GB
- HDMI port added for true interfacing with HD televisions
- Sexy black color
 
The Xbox 360 Elite, like what Jimb0_d said, does not come with an HD-DVD Drive. Its still optional.

@ Jimb0_d, thats really expensive for a HD-DVD Drive from where you at. Its $180 here, with King Kong, and 5 Free HD-DVD movies.
 
Xbox 360 elite. Xbox has better games than all the other systems, and I think the graphics are better than the ps3.
 
I had to go with the Xbox 360 because the hardware is the best suited for gaming out of the bunch. Also, the Xbox 360 currently has better games than the other two and almost every multi-platform game plays the best on the Xbox 360. I do not currently own any of the next gen systems but I am definitely looking to purchase a Xbox 360 Elite soon.
 
i have a 360 never had it run hot unless it was in a tight area with no circulation but yeah 360 ftw .... ps3 died when it came out... 600$ who are u kidding
 
ps3 is great but its has draw backs one the price tag... 800$
but really think about what your getting... Top of the line blue ray player. each which cost close to 1000$$ CDN right now. the there is free online gaming. cmon u cant go wrong with online gaming.. tearing some kids up on motostorm then there is the updated grapics system making your game look more life like is always better an in my opinion xbox cannot compare. and then it has a huge harddrive with the option of external memory sticks. and if u wanna compare games compare x360's first gen games to ps3's first gen games. ps3 takes the cake. but if ur gunna compare current games of them all its hardly fair ps3 has barely had time to workout the kinks and build a second gen game. give it sometime guys ps3 will eat your x360
 
My boy and I are on our fourth xbox 360. Love the games and xbox live. But the box is pure junk. My origonal xbox is rock solid and still going strong.
 
wii is best for a casual gamer due to the price and just the awesomness of it, but if you like to play only and shooters i love my 360, i download tons of demos and its just nifty
