Custom Server.... Please Read!

As the excitement from the release of the CAMP 2 map pack has worn off, the Kettle server has returned to running at full capacity only about 30-50% of the time. Upon looking at my own HLSW logs, what was true before the release, has not changed by much: dozens of members here have never once connected to the custom server.

I write this in the hope of convincing some of you to step out of your single map shells. Remember, your rank on any of the other servers will NOT be affected by play on the Kustom Kettle. Custom maps provide a unique and exciting experience, and all the maps we run are at the same level of quality as the stock maps. You won't find anything that reeks of "home-brew" here!

Give the server a try, and help keep her full! And heck, it's a sure-fire way to help get you noticed on the road to promotions, in that virtually ALL of the Advisors and Council members play on the server as regularly, if not more regularly, than on the others.

I think I actually prefer the custom server to all of the other ones and I am really starting to take a liking to a couple of the custom maps.

SpetzNaz is right guys, break out of your shells, this game and this clan are all about having fun, and these maps are awesome, so get in the CAMP2 server and do what you do best.

Hey, I just now discovered Strand, when the uber-ness of that wears off a little, I'll play some more on KK. I love the maps there, I'm just on a strand spree right now.

Also, as C-WHIT can attest too when you learn new things like maps, your brain develops new synapses (memory) thereby helping with the prevention of Alzheimer's.

We are looking to promote 10-15 admins who play mainly on the custom map server.

KK CAMP 2 server rocks...if you haven't played the custom maps yet, you're a fool.

I don't see why more people don't play on the custom map server, I come from a place that played nothing BUT custom maps in old DoD, and I maintain my love for custom maps in source. Been playing there as much as I can, not to mention it's not like those maps are crap, most of them are damn good!

Personally I'd love even more, glad to hear you might be loading on some others in addition to the ones we've got running, Spetz. I'll be looking.
