Just a quick few pics of my work so far - i put strand in gmod 9 and am trying to recreate the whole beachhead scene. So yea, expect A LOT more in the next few days

i couldn't get strand into gmod 10.
sweet, gotta love how realistic it looks.
What is Gmod 9?
If you wana get strand on Gmod, just copy your whole DoD map folder, and but it into your garry's mod map folder, its worth a shot
strand is easy to get in gmod..if you can get it into DoD you can get it into gmod...you dont have to copy everything in your dod map folder....go here C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\your steam login name\day of defeat source\dod\maps find the strand stuff...copy it and go here for gmod 9 C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\gmod9\maps but for gmod 10 go here C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\your steam login name\garrysmod\garrysmod\maps
Make sure you Gmod folder looks like this when you put the maps from DoD in it, make sure to but the graphs, soundache and such in there to...should look like this.......
I got alllll my DoD maps to work...........(and I have Gmod 10) .......when i played strand in garry's mod, it still bombs you at the beach, i got hit a few time trying to take that pic

haha, same here, i got killed my artillery like twenty times while just posing those guys getting out
