G4 is an insult to human evolution.

I used to like G4. G4 had a great show called Portal. Ever since it merged with TechTV, I see nothing about video games (Except X-Play, but they're very annoying and biased.) I only watch the channel for Cops, and that's all they ever seem to play.
Other than Kristen Holt, Oliva Munn, and Morgan Webb - I can't stand G4 anymore. X-Play is still the last bastion of the TechTV line up, but it's NOWHERE near as funny as it was back in the day.
Also, anyone else remember the awesomeness that was "Arena"?
And on another note, I caught a bit of AOTS the other day where they were talking about Guitar Hero 3. Kevin said something along the lines of "no one wants to play bass. Bass players are guitar players with no talent" and I said something out loud to the effect of "and G4 hosts are failed screenwriters/film producers with no talent".

I've played bass for 8 years, (I'm 18), and he's all "No one wants to play bass..."
What a jerk, Geddy Lee and Les Claypool can destroy ANY guitarist in a talent contest...

Yeah , I do agree though , it was better before they merged...sadly though , around here , thats the only station that semi-resembles a tech station

.i only had techtv like for two days before G4 came on. at first G4 had some pretty awesome shows, as said before, like Arena and X-Play, but now all i watch is Code Monkeys, Attack of the Show, and sometimes X-Play to check up on previews and reviews of the nextgen games. but other than that, all the other shows, like Cheaters are just annoying cuz all it does is take up time, but thank god it only shows when no1 is watching : ).
I lost G4 when we got cable... Oh well now I have fast internet! I didn't watch TechTV as much as I did G4, but I don't exactly remember TechTV... lol.

mmm code monkeys is pretty funny.....eh not many other shows except x-play and maybe aot..only the feed..most other stuff is dumb...except gagdet pr0n that is good..but now its other dumb shows and arena was good but they played the same games every time and i never found out who won the tournament
