To me, brilliance doesn't mean throwing a bunch of crap together, tweening it, then showing your friends how "funny" and "awesome" you are.

Yeah but that's just it, it's not supposed to make any sense. Both sense and nonsense are powerful things, and nonsense has a three letter advantage.
