Being a Musician?

Hello guys,

I wanted to know who of you played an instrument, and if you do, what kind of, and do you play it in a band?

I play the bassguitar for 2 years now, and a lot of Iron Maiden riffs can come out of my little amp... And i do play in a band, we make trash/melodic metalpunk or some...

Bass for 6-7 years now. My current main project is in my sig, but I'll play for anyone that pays me.

I play guitar. Just do it for fun, just to learn to play some of the songs I like a lot. Don't know how long I've been playing..maybe like 3 years

I play clarinet at my high school, been playing for about 6-7 yrs

Uhh, I play so many instruments.

Piano - 11 years
Ukelele (spelling?) - My uncle gave it to me 3 years ago, I play it every once in a while
Upright String Bass - 8 Years
Bass Guitar - 4 years
Harmonica - 2 years, still struggling with playing this one

I also play my brothers guitar every once in a while, but I can stand using picks so I stick to my bass! ^_^

Trombone for about a year or so. Great instrument. Gotta love jazz. I'm in our schools jazz band and it's the best in my area.

Guitar (lead and rhythm) and bass for 35 years. Been in a bunch of bands, all rock, playing Deep Purple, Styx, Boston, The Calling, Jimmy Eat World, Vanessa Carleton, Santana, etc.

Hooked up with a corporate/wedding band a few months ago - it's a startup, we're zeroing in on the Italian band niche (including English classic standard rock tunes) still building our sets and are auditioning another singer. Didn't want to do the bar thing - been there, done that. There's more money in weddings and private events and far less hassle.

Except for the singer, we're all guys in our 40's+. Kids are older, so we can get back into bands.

Umm I played Alto and Tenor Sax for about 5 years...

been playin guitar for about 2 years on and off.

just learned Nickeback - Rockstar tonight, good times...

The nice thing abot Saosin is that they are one band that has a name that is so unusual, the only google listing is for them only. A good way to start.
