Military Experience

my grandpa was in the military and in vet war he got shot near the heart. He sruvived. he then dide last year because of age

Here is an interesting story..
It is about my Step-Father..
He is a Marine (he is out of the military now but..once a Marine alwayz a Marine) that fought in the Vietnam war.
He was the squad leader in his Recon Detachment finding out enemy positions...
Well anywayz, they were spotted and met up with another squad in his platoon and one of the officers out of the other squad was freaking out when they got spotted by the enemy and well he shot my step-father twice in the head and once in his leg, twice in his left arm, and once in his chest...
he wuz actually "dead" for a couple days....the people that found him and put him in whatever they put dead bodies in, and by the grace of God, he just woke up....
He is living well now, and after he got discharged out of the Military, he wanted to prove to every1 that he could still be in it....he ran the iron man about 20 times and got 1st place about 10+ times....
I thought that the story was interesting..
I myself am a jr. in Highschool, i am in a military school and am the Command Sergeant Major of our Batallion..

Five years in the navy. Sniper, mg and demo.

....sort of fits in with the Strand map, come to think of it :p

I have a certificate or something from my...great great great grandpa or something from the Last Reunion of Civil War Vets from the 30's or something. Funny though, my grandfathers have been in the bloodiest battles and come out alive. I mean my grandpa <Civil war one> Was in Shiloh, Jacksonville, Gettysburg, you name it.

i am thinking of going into the navy as a pilot something i always wanted to do. but i half to get through high school first :)

I'm Supreme Commander of the Cookieland Armed Forces.

A few years ago in the 10 Year War against the Cupcake Coalition a brave young cookie by the name of Pvt. Chip rolled his way all the way down the street and captured the cupcake's RED FLAG and after sticking it INTO HIMSELF rolled all the way back down the street returning it to our BLUE cookie-filled base bringing an end to the decade of filling-shed.

He has since died of "being eated".
