You guys need to talk him out of it, ive tried...the card he has is good for 2 months....OH NOES!!!!! I mean, for the sake of his social life!!!!, help him :p

Although I was once a WoWaddict I have grown to hate the game in epic proportions.

However, if someone plays it I will not stop them. They may play whatever they'd like to.

He loved that game, but once he got off it, he HATED it, but now he is back, and as much as i would want him to play what he wants, this game for him is just ridiculous....but ya, its up to him....and FYI, that one summer he played 600 - 700 hours !dodge

*nods* when I quit my main character had 20 days on it...

I know it's sad but it happens.

are you seriously worried about how much time he spends playing that? you said what.. 15 hours in 3 days?

well lets see, I didn't get Xfire til I joined =(eGO)=.

I've Been in =(eGO)= for 75 days as of today.

Please note that i had 4 weekends off for camping, 2 were 4 day weekends, 2 were 3 days. So take away 14 days from the 75, you get 61.

Now, I've played a total of:

573 hours of Day of Defeat Source
17 hours of Guild Wars
7 hours of Counter-Strike Source
and 3 hours of Battlefield 1942

grand total... 600 hours in 61 days, averaging 9 hours 49 Minutes give or take a minute per day that I've been online since I have had Xfire.

now for the point, do you really think 15 hours in 3 days (sunday monday tuesday) is really a big deal?

Yeah MMORPG's can get pretty crazy if you get sucked into them. I played EVE Online for almost two years shortly after its retail launch way back when. When I think of about it now I can totally see what happened, just one thing after another like a snowball going downhill. Although I don't feel the need to ever play it again I can't say I ever regret the decision either lol.

WoW's fun for like a month and then it gets real old. I had 3 top level guys and then i decided that the game wasnt worth the time I wasted on it. So I quit and now all I play is DoD or I go work out, cause I'd rather be buff then have a character on a game.

yeah played WoW at a friends house...it sucked......really bad..horid graphics...and too many jerks....and whats the point of it any way?

Yea but WoW dosnt start off being fun. For instance, DoD you can start the same as everyone else with the same gear and all. WoW you start lvl 1 with nothing and waste 2 months of your life to get to the top. And even then its not fun cause everyone else has all the top stuff that you cant get, unless you waste another two months of your life to get it.
