Spinners

solstice

I made one post
How do I get rid of spinners? That irritating habit my computer has of wanting to stop and spin around aimlessly, usually at inopportune moments? I ask repeatedly in game and get zero response.

yeah what are spinners? You mean rims or something? i dont get it...

do you have a wireless mouse? If you do, change your batteries.

change your batteries!

I think he's talking about a phanominon in which your mouse you'ld glitch over to the otherside of the screen...

it was my old mouse..... but now i got a Razer Copperhead :D best mouse i ever had :]

REplace ur mouse if thats it

I think he means the discomouse :p i have that too once in a while... It's becuase of the batteries ye and having an optic mouse is also part of the problem...

My mouse is optical but not wireless. A spinner is when I'm moving (or standing still) and for some unknown reason the next thing I know is I'm looking up at the sky and I'm spinning wildly, it locks up for approximately a second while spinning, then I'm looking straight up. It doesn't happen often, usually about twice during a session, but it's highly annoying and leads to being an easy target when in a firefight. It tends to happen more often in buildings such as the church or the apartments in Avalanche, in the tank house in Donner, but will occur in open ground as well. If it's simply an aspect of having an optical mouse and it's some sort of reset I can live with it, I'd just like to know.

My mouse does it too actually,

It's a Kensington PilotMouse Optical Pro.

It's not the best mouse, but it works well for me and it only cost 20 bucks (It came with Splinter Cell for the PC too)

LOLLOOOL, No you didn't! Arghh those things look so tacky and funny i usually see them on an Escalade or even a navigator once around here where I live. Cracks me up and has me shaking my head back and forth when i'm at a light and see it lol.

try cleaning your mouses optical eye. also make sure your mouspad is clean too. if it still happens, try switching USB ports.

or just spend 20 bucks on a new mouse :)

And, thanks to the wonderful people at OCC, spinners have now been made popular for motorcycles.

........grrrrr.........

Yeah those guys lol I like the show too, too bad they went and did something like that those things are just horrible especially on a custom bike.

The show is awesome, I watch it every week, but their bikes are HORRIBLE. The Black Widow is the only bike that they've ever done that I remotely liked.

I also had that problem with a mouse that used batteries. Ditch it and get an optical usb mouse. Also, check the bottom periodically to make sure a hair or fibre isn't in the LED's path in the hole. That can make a difference too.
