New iPods

Have you guys seen the new iPods that apple is introducing? They look pretty sweet to me. I can't wait to get my iPod touch that thing is gonna be the coolest thing ever.

No matter what you do, don't get an Iphone. A lot of people who got one are outraged and want their money back....plus you have to press about 5 buttons to make one call...

Well, I tend to press 11-12 buttons to make a phone call you know... 1-(555)555-5555 then send.

So saying that really isn't a negative.

Yeah the new ones are cool, although I wish they had removed the shiny metal backing, like they did when they originally redid the nano's. I'd still like to get an iphone.

i LOVE my iPhone!! The new iPod Touch looks exactly like an iPhone only it doesn't have phone/text capabilities. Was I pissed when Apple dropped the price after just a few months? Not really. I am happy though that they are giving back $100 to everyone that did buy the iPhones before the price change.

Not sure what you mean by Apple finding a way out of the contract since it was from the Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, that announced it.

ya my ipod broke like 6months ago but it served me well, i was planning on getting a zune2.0 when it comes out around december, hopefully they slimed down a bit and got some upgrades or else i might have to go back to apple, the 80 gig ipod classic is catching my eye

Was talking about Apple and AT&T's contract to exclusively sell it with their plans. Now that the iphones are being cracked/unlocked, this could render the contract useless to Apple.

That may be, but the iPhone will live on, no matter what the carrier. I for one love my iPhone to death. As for the price drop, doesn't bother me since I believe I've used more than $200 worth of 'no headaches' and 'time saved' over the past 2 months. The iPhone isn't for everyone, but the few that do use it to its potential know that it was money well spent.
