So, since I got my promotion every time I update my name in game from =(eG)= to =(eGO)= whenever I close out and relaunch it reverts back to =(eG)=. I've tried changing the name in game using console and using the options on the menu screen but it doesn't save. Any ideas?

Hey, I have seen this exact same post someplace in these forums and there was tons of suggestins i think one worked. Although i cannot fin dit to link to it, I know it was active within the last month. I used the search feature and couldnt find anything under tech help or tech talk, so i think i probably foun it in the eG forums - you may want to look there in the old threads or just search ahrder in tech help then i did. LOL or wait for the same people to repost.
Go to your config file and right click it, go into properties and make sure read-only isn't checked.
It was marked as read only. I unchecked it and its saving now. Very nice Morbid! Thank you very much!
