Help with GMOD 9

I recently downloaded & installed GMOD 9, but I can't run it. I only have DOD:S. Do I have to purchase CS: S, for this to work? If so, is it worth it to just buy the package that includes GMOD 10?

I think you have to have Half Life 2. Gmod 9 has a lot of half life models so you might need it.

Im not sure if gmod 10 requires HL2. Im pretty sure it does.

If he has DOD:S he already has HL2 installed, just not.... decrypted? I dunno man. Try restarting steam and deleting clientregistry.blob

For Gmod 9, you need CS:S, HL2DM, and Half Life 2.
