Have you folks tried any of the more recent Apple machines? They don't have anywhere near as many problems as any PC I've ever used. I regularly use both. A PC for my home, and gaming. A mac for work.
My mac has never caused me any trouble, and has acctually lasted longer than any PC I have ever used. It freezes up far less often, and generally works very well. I don't understand the hatred PC users often feel toward Mac. They each have their strenghts and weaknesses.

The latest "generation" of Macs is certainly an improvement. The reason most PC users hate macs is because for the past several years up until the very recent future, PCs have outdone Macs in almost every aspect. Yeah it used to be Macs were what you'd use if you wanted to go about an art project, but not anymore. The games we play, movies we watch, and a greater majority of digital artwork as a whole is done on PCs these days. The PCs game library is also...incredibly larger. Given this, during the period of PCs ruling over Macs (which was pretty much..until the release of the iPod), PC users grew to hate macs, and never used them again.
Once the iPod came out, and Macs actually pulled themselves out of the unstable pile of dirt they were in, well the apple now has some pretty nice machines. Most people don't know that the more recent mac machines don't have near the problems of the old ones, though, because they haven't had a need to try them. PCs are still cheaper for the same amount of power, still have a much larger game library, and still can do just about everything (useful) a Mac can do.
But yes, I will give you that much. The more recent macs aren't all that bad. They used to BLOW, however, and most people don't feel like going back to macs when there's really no need.
