Was playing Lock On online tonight and I got a 1 time opportunity. I caught up with an enemy Mig 29 flying low and slow heading back to his base. I don't think he ever saw me coming. I decided to pull a Top Gun move:



Tom Cruise would be proud of me =)


The dude hit full burners and tried to get away, but I got him in the end:
 
Nice, I've never heard of that game before. Did you ever play Battlefield 2? I've never really got that good at flying the jets, but the dogfights were fun.
 
Ahh, that sure does look fun. After watching those Dog Fight episodes on the History Channel, I'm getting the urge to jump in and play that.

If you want to dog fight, get IL:2 and Pacific Fighters. It's down and dirty WW2 dog fighting. Lock on is a little different. This is the first time I've been within 5 miles of a bandit. They sell a package with IL:2, PF, and Lock on together for like 30 bucks.

God, that scene pisses me off! In the cockpit he goes WIDE OPEN THROTTLE!!! Watch the movie, the scene either at Top Gun or the last fight he throws the throttle full forward when he "hits the breaks".
