You know what I just realized? The Garand rocks.

I've never really used it before because I thought it was pretty worthless. Then I got a little bored of all the other guns I always use and found that I hardly ever use the garand.

I've been using it almost exclusively the last few days and I'm really kind of shocked at how good it is. It really gets you into the habit of aiming at the head and it's a pretty effective sniper weapon when in iron sights.

Sniper is the easiest weapon to use it's ridiculous. I get bored when I use it just because it takes all the challange out of the game

The Kar98 is a hidden gem.

if you want the garand to be even better get Milwaukee's garand skin. instead of the letter metal tip you get a laser red-dot sight instead. same for the kar98.

That is broderline cheating in my mind. I use all of Wile E. Coyote's custom content. The only thing I use that's not by him is my HUD.

The k98 has been my favorite weapon for a long time, but I've recently discovered the garand is pretty sweet so I'm giving it a bit more attention.

Honestly, I get more flag caps as a sniper than any other class simply because it's so easy to annihilate any opposition when you have that gun. It's nearly impossible to miss, and 99% of the time it's 1 shot kill.

The only time that doesn't work is if you have really slow reflexes and can't make a shot in under half a second. If it takes you more than half a second to make a shot you need to pick another weapon lol.


But yeah, to all you skeptics out there, I recommend giving the Garand some attention. Spend a day or 2 getting used to it and it will work wonders. In reality, the garand was the best weapon in the war and according to someone who's name I can't remember it was "the gun that won the war" or something like that.

It's just too bad most games make the garand into a bad weapon.

Oh and BTW, you CAN in real life change a garand's en-bloc clip before all the bullets are spent. The only reason nobody really knows about that is because it was standard military procedure to fire it until it was empty and then reload with a new clip. Also, replacing it mid clip was a bit of a hassle and took longer than was usually acceptable.

i sometimes snipe with that gun and it isnt half bad
