In-Game Voice Chat - Don't Spam the Mic or Be BANNED !

There have been a few complaints, so we have to bring this up again for anyone new to eGO servers.

Do not keep a running commentary or constantly talk on the mic during a game.

It is not your personal commentary channel.

Anyone who talks constantly will find themselves banned for a few days, or even perma-banned if they keep on doing it.

In-game you will get two warnings, max. After that you will be banned for anything from a few days to a week. Perma bans will follow if it ends up being a recurring problem.

If anyone hears someone abusing the mic in this way, PM an advisor or council member.

To be clear, you mean discussion not directly relevant to the game, correct?

I don't think there is a voice-activated mic setting in DoD:S, is there? I'm pretty sure that's only in TeamSpeak.

...and you're right about the voice-activated during a game, it is only in teamspeak. I've been using keys for both teamspeak and in-game that I forgot. I'll edit my original post - thanks!

Bottom line is for everyone not to spam the mic in any way.
