Barrier Jumping

Are we allowed to jump barriers into spawn on Orange maps on the Kettle servers?

I dont think its leegal or right. Its a barrier to allow someone to at least spawn. If it was ok to go over we would not call it a barrier. We would call it a big bump that you need a buddy to help you get over.

Not allowed, annoyed by it and mg spawn camp, but spawn camping is allowed on Orange, barrier jumping isn't.

Ok...the reason I asked was because I was on the Kettle Orange maps server, and eGO's were telling me it's 'ok' to barrier jump when you win, 'everyone does it.' I didn't get any names, but they were eGO...

Oh thats after the game was won. Hmmmm thats your call I rarely shoot people after the win No honor but then again I am a Knight . lol

Shouldn't it be allowed if a team wins and then barrier jump to kill who's left?

hmm is spawncamping allowed on ava for the allies? cuz there is always someone who does it and it irritates me all the time!

Barrier jumping is no big deal after the round has been won. The winning team has earned it. The only thing after the round that is not allowed is going to spec or using your admin powers to avoid being killed during the bonus round. That is a big no no.

i was on ava the other day and someone was complaing about barrier jumping and i was in admin chat talking with another ego and he was saying that if there isnt fire there it isnt a barrier and its ok, such as getting over the rocks by the allied first or jumping up into the door at the axis second. i would call those barriers, is that not barrier jumping?

Orange maps are pure carnage...the normal rules don't usually apply to the Orange maps.

Some maps don't even have a barrier into spawn. You can stroll right in and shoot everyone.

If you set rules for barriers, you'll end up mirco-managing each map.

Spawn camping, IMHO, is just part of the game. There is ALWAYS a way to take out a spawn camper (eventually). "to the victor goes the spoils..."
