is it true that if you hide youre wires it would give you a better air flow. Ore does it just make youre mod look better. ?

Yes and now - depends on your cables. The biggest offenders are the flat cables- ide/floppy cabes. I use rounded cables so there's less problem. For more cases it shouldn't matter - unless you have a tight case. For the most part - if you're having temperature issues - you should be doing something more significant - like adding a 120mm fan or changing heatsinks/headsink fans.

Cable managment is for people who are fussy about how things look as much as the functionality of additionat cooling.

Personally i can not cope with a pc that has wires going everywhere, it drives me nuts! And i think if im gonna spend $2000 on a computer i may aswell do it right!

Just get a nice big fan on the top like my antec 900. I dont even care where i put my wires. It makes it so much easier to build and assemble. Less worrying about how i should wire my computer and automatically start playing w/ it!!

so if your looking to hide the wires, how do you go about doing it, i tried several times and they always go back to the way they were

yeah a few zip ties here and there can always help. If you move your computer a lot like i do, it helps to zip tie stuff away from fans so the wires dont get sliced.

i actually rewired my computer last night. I decided i wanted to do a decent sort of job and i took a hacksaw to the case and everything lol

its a little dusty but the case is an antec 180. all teh wires from the psu are ran along through the wind tunnel in the botton of the case and then routed up behind the hard drive cages.

Im reasonably happy with how it turned out but will prob redo it i nthe future and find a way to get the sata cables tidied up

lol i guess that is one way to cool your ram - 80mm fan. BTW giant heat sync.

as sed b4, wire mangmnt is more for looks, but it can restrict air flow for sure. and if poor airflow causes pc temp to rise then rewire and get new/bettr fans

It really just depends on the case you buy. Thats why some people make sure they have the right case. The right case, enables you to have the ability to hide cables which does help airflow.
