Good day guy and gals,

I am requesting that my screen name |atgfl|UWS Theomajigga, be allowed to remain in tact... I have used this screen name since the beginning of time... and was earlier informed that it could have been a name though of as offensive.

Up until this day, I had never heard such a thing, due the the fact that the suffix is majigga, I had believed that an offensive suffix would contain the letter "n" in place of "j"

All I am requesting as a fellow DoD:S player, is that my name be allowed. I, along with other players, equal my name theomajigga to the phrase, thing-amajigga, this was more the intended meaning.

I was the One who asked him to change his name , and he was a good sport about it and came here to ask to keep his name , i still think some people will find it offensive.

...so what the hell does the name mean? As it is I personally don't find it offensive. But I also hate pronouncing names like "majigga" period. Similarly I hate pronouncing our good friend sugafree's name. I think I declared him Mr. Sweets or something of the sort in-game.

...those "suga" "jigga" things ending in A annoy the crap out of me because I have trouble pronouncing them and having it sound decent.

...but nope, not offensive to me. Whatever the council decides I guess.

I don't see what's so bad about it. There are lots of names where you could replace a letter and have something which could be considered bad. Also - I've noticed a lot of phonetic name spellers lately (ex. PhuKing). If we're letting PhuKing to play - I don't see how this guy should have to change his name.

lol.... some people take the work majigga to the phrase ma- woah, easy cowboy.[~WAKKA] which is offensive in our language... i had put this poll up becuse RR had asked me to change my name, to which I did, but i had requested a place to request me name be accepted... we are kind of seeing how the polls roll out to decide if my name is legit. please also if you haven't voted, do, regardless of standing i'd just like to hopefuly have my name in the clear!!

but for record point, it has been in is 24 hr mark and i haven't seen yes come over the no's.... so possibly we could almost call it???

I don't think it's offensive, but there are always people in the wonderfull world of DoD:S who think your name is offensive. But still let the masses deceide what to do!
