well guys, my computer caught a trojan:(, so i just got back from my friends house(guy who also built my comp) and we reformatted and Im starting from scratch, lost all my music though:'(, but I aint tripping, all I need is steam, xfire and TS lol. My comp is supppeerr fast now, and plus I came up with a mic!!! YAY EDGE WILL FINALLY HEAR MY EVIL VOICE!!! hahaha j/k, Im just excited cuz it will be alot easier to admin with a mic(after the episode few nights ago), and utilize TS,:D hope to see you all soon, OH 1 more thing guys see my sig below??? what does it say below my template sig??? you kkkknnnnooowwww!!! thats right JONES FTW!!!!!!!
 
i have 2x150gb 10,000rpm raptor hard drives (no raid config). This is ample space. This allows me to install all of my programs and system files on C:, and then save all personal stuff (music, files, pics, vids, school work) on D:. This way if I catch a trojan or any virus it has a 99% chance of being on D: only. If you keep system files sep. from program files you won't have to worry about something like this. And if u don't have 2 hard drives then partition the one you do have proportionately (50/50 is usually not the way to go, more like 70/30). Also, save all your setup files on C: (or the 70% part). This way if the trojan infects your D: you can first selectively back up uninfected files, second concentrate on cleaning infected files, and third, if need be, wipe out the D:, losing personal stuff, but not C: where all program files are. Cheers.
 
Ye actually you'll have to thank the trojan for boosting your pc again LOL. But i'm glad it's working again and i'll be waiting for you in TS, you can hear my evil voice too! MOEhaha:p
 
my voice is eviler, exspecially after it changed :D but not as much as fleas.....darn you!! and i wont give you no cookies :D
 
ive gotten that problem many times
the best thing to do is to call over to India (forgot the # i used) and talk to a guy/girl there. They were a great help for me and got my comp running within a hlaf hour
