yea my sound card like does not work at all. its stationary so i can see y it would do that but i dont wanna waste a lot of money for a sound card. or i could just figure out the problem but i dont know what the problem is. my brother says i should get a program so the language of the sound goes to the speakers.

i also have another problem and i know its gonna cost me. i think i have to buy a new video card which is really expensive for me since i dont have a job. DoD is running slow thats y i can't play it right now. i'm not sure if i should invest like this on my computer or just let it go the way it is. PLEASE HELP! if you could show me websites where i can get these things for cheap or for less than average.

get an 8series Nvidia
Logitech, or Razer sound card

only get 8 series nvidia, if your going vista, 8800 are overpriced cuz they have directx 10, which is only worth it on vista and a few games. i would get a high end directx 9 card (ati 1900 - 1950 series) i have a 1900xt and it gives me 60-80 fps when playing dod with vista(equivalent to 100+ fps on xp)

but if your thinking about the future, go nvidia 8 series and while your there, get one of those Killer network cards and agia physix accellerator.

does nvidia 8 cost money? i know its on the nvidia website but i'll figure it out. and as for the video card i will research it when i get home. thanks guys.

How many people respond to a thread liek this and not ask what his computer is? You wouldnt put an nforce8800gtx in a p3 woudl you? lol well some of you would actually.


Hey, Please list your computer specs (with brands is known) for quality advice. You might just need to reset yoru video settings to play isntead of buying anything new. Your sound problem might also get solved as well so post away those specs will ya?
