i can't think of anything...

we are not mainstream cover band...

i need to pick a song for our first cover show...

Depends on what crowd you are playing for. I would suggest your own music but thats just me.

Ye, try some classics from Iron Maiden, like The Trooper, Fear of the Dark and Hallowed be thy Name.

You can always try some songs from Deep Purple if you guys like that band, songs like Smoke on the Water, Black Night and Space Truckin'.

I will post some more if i can up with some metal classics.

I can't really give any phenominal suggestions because I listen to Emo / Screamo / Hardcore / Punk / and Indie Genres (AND Dave Matthews Band!!)

BUT!!! - Why don't you try some bullet for my valentine. If any of ye have a screamin voice that is... lol - I know I do! !amazed

But, bullet songs tend to get people riled up and its always a good time...

Hmmm, the usual method for a band is to look at the song/set lists of other bands in your city, then slice and dice the list. It works far better than asking anyone.

Most bands are on myspace and/or have their own websites, start there.
