Need helpo!

So ive been enjoying my time so far playing with my fellow eGOs now that ive been in the clan for some time. However, my PC is running into some problems that can jeopardize my time playing dod source (or any other game for that matter.) This happened just recently, and I have no idea what could be wrong. My FPS in all my games are really low. Usually i get anywhere between 40-60 FPS in dod source, but lately my PC is getting between 20-40 and sometimes dips down to 10. This has happened to all my source games, even to my beloved Team Fortress 2. My PC is virus free and i got the newest Nvidia driver for my card. I don't think my CPU is overheating, fans are running well and its at 40 degrees Celsius. My CPU has been getting a lot of crashes concerning my memory. I get the blue screen that says "memory dump...." etc.

Any help would be much appreciated. I want to get back on the Ava server on a good functional computer.

Well i sometimes do this for some extra speed but it is sometimes not advised. When you launch the game ctrl alt del it and find teh hl22.exe process and give it an above normal or high priority. It will give you a little extra boost. But it might make your system unstable.

wusup buddy, sorry ure having problems, here's my 2 pennies
ok here---

--bump up your refresh rate to 75
--try either increasing or decreasing your 3D acceleration. DOD may need more and ure not providing enough, or it may need less and it's draining your system
--completely remove DOD and use STEAM to reDL it.
--you sed u've been playing DOD for a while, maybe, somehow it's not using your new system drivers correctly and reinstalling it will help. (tho i doubt it)
--increase priority on the half life engine
--try CTRL+alt+DEL and killing a bunch of user processes you don't/are not using

if this doesn't help i really don't know what's wrong with it. im sure if u put this post under tech talk you'll get LOTS LOTS more help than i could give you
