An interesting fact

I was cleaning up around my pc and a tag on the back of my monitor caught my eye. It's a Dell 21'' 21TE Ultrascan. This was the top of the line monitor back in the day that I got refurbished for 50 bucks for my 10th birthday......and I'm 21 now and it still works perfectly.

The tag on the back said this monitor was made at the original Dell plant here in Austin that has been close for almost 10 years.

Even more interesting, this monitor was made in April of 1995. This means that my freaking monitor is older than some of our eGO members.

Yes, Dell has some pretty high standards on their equipment. My 2nd computer was a Dell that I got about 8 years ago, and it's still running strong today. It's too bad a lot of people carry around false statements from 'horror stories' related to them, that are around the internet. Kinda like the whole Vista is crap stuff.
