I keep joining servers and getting D/C'd by VAC because a connection can't be made to the VAC server or something like that. It's getting irritating. The support page says possible internet provider BS but I'm runnig fine. I've even rebooted the modem a couple times I dunno what's up but I need to get my game on before I fly back up to Sac or I'm going to go nuts

Is this still happening? Usually this only occurs when the Steam auth. servers are having trouble, and usually resolves by itself.

i get that everytime my connection bottlenecks. Turn on netgraph 3 and watch your tick and see if it drops too low. With the servers updating my outbound tick was 9 for about 2 days straight.

This has happened to me in the past. I tried restarting my computer (and thus steam) and it ddint help. The only thing that worked in my case was actually clicking "log off" and then logging back in. Other have also had this problem.

and no it doesnt make sence that exiting and loging into steam is different than logging out and logging in.
