It was tough. I'd go with MG42, I feel so damn powerful when I hold it, but I don't like camping, so I'll go with my other choice: Thompson. I <3 the Thompson!

ok I love k98 hands down the best.. but it's cuz i play AVA (and yes i must take this chance to brag, i am ranked number 1 in eGO AVA servers with kar98)
sometimes when i am axis and use the ak looking gun i feel recoil is too high (though not so much anymore) but mostly i feel when i empty a clip i don't want to switch weapons, lemme punch someone! so i switch mp44 and feel that though it has a sick rate of fire it's damage and accuracy really suck. and though i can punch someone now i miss that second nade. Same with Allies. I love the thompson. thompson is king of random headshots.. but i empty out a whole CLIP from 45 feet and hit thin air only, and sometimes in close quarters i can get off almost 10 shots, and maybe land one (for 30hp.. PLLBBBBTTT) and then i get DROPPED by axis rifle in one shot, and probably cuz of the KEVLAR arms bug. Which is why i frequently drop and pick up guns. It depends, in close quarters gimme thompson, in medium quarters give me axis AK looking gun. Bar is ok, but recoil is redonkulous.
